Service Unit Managers
Kelly Morrison – (213) 716-9641
Duties: Accountable for the organization, management, planning, mission delivery, and compliance within the Service Unit. Consult with new and experienced troop/group leaders, ensuring safety, quality, and appropriate programs for Girl Scouts. Approve documentation including permission slips, financial reports, and special event requests.
Service Unit Recruiter/Placement Coordinator
Duties: Responsible for planning and implementing recruitment events with the goal of placing every girl who desires to become a Girl Scout into a troop. Provide advice to new troop leaders as needed.
Service Unit Troop Consultant
Consult with new and experienced troop/group leaders, ensuring safety, quality, and appropriate programs for Girl Scouts. Approve documentation including permission slips, as needed. Provide assistance with the registration process.
Service Unit Treasurer
Duties: Provide sound financial management of all Service Unit funds including review and approval of Troop and Service Unit financial reports. Approve requests to host special events as needed.
Service Unit Secretary/Communications Coordinator
Duties: Manage and organize communications for the Service Unit by distributing information in an effective and efficient manner including the maintenance of the Service Unit website, Troop Leader email notifications, distribution of minutes of Leader Meetings, as well as social media within and outside the Service Unit.
