Girl Scout Levels:
Girl Scouting is available to all girls in Kindergarten through 12th Grade. Girl Scout levels are as follows:
Level |
Grade |
Daisy | Kindergarten and 1st Grade |
Brownie | 2nd and 3rd Grade |
Junior | 4th and 5th Grade |
Cadette | 6th, 7th and 8th Grade |
Senior | 9th and 10th Grade |
Ambassador | 11th and 12th Grade |
Adult to Girl Ratio:
For meetings and outings, you must meet the required adult to girl ratio. Please refer to Volunteer Essentials or Safety Wise for the exact ratio.
Permission Slips:
When an activity takes place outside the normal meeting time and place, advise each parent/guardian of the details of the activity and obtain permission for girls to participate. All permission slips should be forwarded to the Service Unit Manager at least 72 hours prior to the event. Overnight/extended stay trips must be approved by the Service Unit Manager. Submit permission slips for overnight approval as far in advance as possible, but no later than one week prior to the overnight.
