Twilight Camp 2012

THEME: Fun with Flight

June 18 – 22, 2012
3:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Crescenta Valley Park

Registration begins April 15th, click Online Registration here to register.

Let your imagination take flight with us as we learn about the wonders of the sky above, through avian life and aviation. Girl Scouts will learn about the complexities of flight, about the many options for careers in the field of aviation, and will have a chance to meet with amazing women pilots. We’ll make our own airplanes, conduct flight experiments, and challenge our engineering skills!

Long before man could fly, birds served as inspiration and envy. Together we’ll study birds, learning about their secrets of success, and be inspired by their many variations, shapes, colors and sounds. We’ll examine bird nests to see the secrets they hold, make bird feeders to nourish our feathered friends, and even build bat houses to learn about this vital member of our local community.
